The Frauenkirche (the women's church) can be found on the Hauptmark between the two churches of St. Sebald and St. Lorenz. A tabernacle with a musical clock by Adam Kraft (around 1509) can be seen on the gable of the west façade. At midday, you can marvel at “das Männleinlaufen”, the procession of small figures while the clock strikes. During Advent, the Frauenkirche forms an atmospheric backdrop to the famous Nuremberger “Christkindlesmarkt”.
