The town hall of Nuremberg, comprising several buildings can be found in the old town and was built between 1616 and 1622. The old town hall to the south resembles a church with its Gothis arched windows. The former courtroom inside is over 40 metres long. The dungeons in the cellar are a tourist attraction. Here you can see the medieval torture chamber, complete with its instruments of torture.
