A „zwinger“ is the ward of a walled city, the space between the inner ditch and outer walls. The “Zwinger” has been a tavern since the 19th century and is the last of the so- called “Zwingerwirtschaft” (ward inns) in Nuremberg. The cosy bars and the large, shady beer garden invite you to enjoy a choice of traditional Frankish dishes and a selected Mediterranean cuisine.
