Gaststätte Zur Schranke

A gastronomic highlight in Nuremberg is a place known as the “Schlenkerla”. Right next door to the Albrecht Dürer House, this cosy tavern has a large terrace and is actually called “Zur Schranke”. The house butcher's shop supplies the Frankish sausages, various cold sliced meats and substantial homemade fare. Try one of the five different draught beers, for example, the well- known Schlenkerla smoked beer and the Erdinger wheat beer.
