The traditional Tucher mediaeval games come around every year in August. Thespectacle takes place in the Knight's Arena (Ritterarena) in the Burggraben of the Kaiserburg in Nuremberg. Jousting tournaments, a mediaeval market with mediaeval fare all contribute to transport you into the atmosphere of a mediaeval town. The after- dark torchlit jousting with pyrotechnics is very popular. Various events on historical sites bring to life the history of Nuremberg.
