Germany's biggest flea market takes place twice a year in May and September on the second weekend of the month. On these weekends, the inner city of Nuremberg is in the hands of the “Trempelmarkt” holders. The Hauptmarkt is the centre of the market but you will find more interesting stalls in all the adjoining streets and squares. About 4 thousand professional and amateur stall- holders have everything on offer, from valuable antiques to prosaic junk items.
