The old building of the Nuremberger Toy Museum, the “Nürnberger Spielzeugmuseums”, in the Karlstrasse is an impressive sight with its richly- ornamented Renaissance façade. The visitors can see, besides images and documents on the theme of play, toys from the 18th to the 19th century. The exhibition space is full of dolls made of all sorts of materials from wood and wax to plastic and porcelain.
Opening hours: Tuesday to Friday 10 a.m. – 5 p.m., Saturday and Sunday 10 a.m. – 6 p.m.
