The Tucherschloss was built between 1533 and 1544 as a garden lodge by the patrician family Tucher of Nuremberg. The splendidly appointed rooms now house a museum devoted to the everyday life and culture of the patrician culture through the ages. Here you can admire countless pieces of furniture and tapestries, along with important works of art. The old lodge can now pride itself on a valuable addition, a reconstruction of the Hirsvogelsaal of 1534, one of the most beautiful Renaissance interiors in Germany.
