Germanisches Nationalmuseum

The Germanic National Museum is the biggest cultural and historical museum in German speaking countries and houses the most important and comprehensive collection of German art and culture. The visitor is taken on a journey through time, from the early beginnings of Germanic culture right through to the second half of the 20th century. The various collections with over 25 thousand exhibits, deal with the most diverse themes from paintings, sculpture, traditional dress, musical instruments, goldsmith's artefacts, weapons – the scope is simply enormous.
