Garnisonmuseum Nürnberg

The Garrison Museum shows visitors the history of the army and military life in central Frankenland. The exhibition traces the history of the former garrison city of Nuremberg since the Thirty Years War. The collection has exhibits such as uniforms and equipment, the organisation of the Royal Bavarian Army, the German National Defence Force (Reichswehr), the Federal Defence Force (Bundeswehr) and the American Armed Forces. Viewing on every 2nd Saturday in the month at 10 a.m. or 1.30 p.m. or on appointment.
