The Museum of Firefighting shows not only the history of professional and amateur fire- fighting in Nuremberg, but also the technical development of firefighting in the whole Frankish area. The visitor can look forward to an exhibition devoted to the history of fire control from the late Middle Ages to modern times and an extensive collection of firefighting equipment, fire- proof clothing, medals for firefighting and communication techniques.
